What types of traditional bikes do you work on?Road, gravel, triathlon, MTB, kids bikes… pretty much anything. If you have a larger bike like a recumbent, trike or similar, there is often an oversize fee applied.
-
Do you do fittings?Yes, but by appointment only. Please contact our shop for pricing & schedule availability.
-
Can I bring my own parts for you to install? We don’t recommend it unless you are confident you’ve purchased the correct parts. Please note that if you provide your own parts which turn out to be incorrect, we will charge for any labor/time wasted.
-
Do you sell e-bikes?No. We are a very small shop and do not have the space to stock e-bikes.
-
Can you recommend an e-bike?There are so many styles and price ranges that we cannot recommend something without first speaking to a client so we can better understand their needs. At a minimum, we will say this… do your research and don’t buy from Amazon. You should only purchase an e-bike from a brick & mortar store, or online from a manufacturer with a US-based office & customer service department. You should also look for e-bikes that come with warranty coverage of 1 year or more.
-
Do you repair e-bikes?Yes, but… over the last several years, we’ve had experience (both good and bad) with various e-bike brands. For repairs that are equivalent to traditional bikes - flat tires, brake pad replacement, derailleur adjustments, etc - are part of our regular e-bike services. If you have an e-bike with error codes, or other issues pertaining to the electronic components, you must first contact the manufacturer. If they recommend (and provide you with) replacement parts, then we can install it. We will not diagnose electrical issues.
